Central High School boys’ basketball team and the Basketball Brotherhood, Inc. formed a win-win alliance to benefit Neva Lomason Memorial Library in Carrollton, Georgia on Thursday, September 10, 2015. The joint alliances volunteered to move adjustable tables, neatly organize rooms, and setup book displays in preparation for the library’s book sale! Neva Lomason’s book sale was opened to the general public Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. The City of Carrollton historical library is located at 710 Rome Street Carrollton, Georgia 30117. A wide variety of adult, teen, and children books were on display and all books were sold at reasonable prices.
Central High School boys’ basketball team and the Basketball Brotherhood, Inc. would like to express thanks to Neva Lomanson Memorial Library’s Director Roni Tewksbury, Circulation Coordinator Jacine Harrison, and library staff for the opportunity to give back to the community! In the words of the great Muhammad Ali, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.”
Cordially,
Deion Sims
Basketball Brotherhood Director and Central Basketball Assistant Coach
