Meet Mario Mason, Development coach for the Basketball Brotherhood. Mason has exemplified nothing less than a passion for the youth in our community as well as for the game of basketball. His love for the youth is shown through his 4 years of service a the Boys and Girls Club Of Paulding County where he currently serves as the Teen Center Director. Mason was recently honored with the 2014 Amyrillis Heard Staff member of the year award for demonstrating excellence in youth development. He believes that basketball is a gateway to success and uses the game of basketball to teach invaluable life lessons to athletes. Mason says, “Life is bigger than the game of basketball and using the concepts that are taught through the game will prepare our youth to be productive citizens in our own and other communities!”
