The Basketball Brotherhood is proud to announce its partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Paulding County as they host their first Annual Warriors in Pink Breast Cancer awareness seminar. This spectacular event was spear headed by Paulding County’s teen center director and Basketball Brotherhood development coach, Mario Mason. The event was a great success, reaching over 70 individuals in the community of Paulding County in an effort to provide helpful information on breast cancer and its risk factors. Tanner Medical Center and Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Bremen, Georgia also were partners in this event. Nurse Linda Mason of Tanner Medical Center facilitated a very engaging lecture on breast cancer and Mrs. Eva Barber spoke about her battle with breast cancer. In the words of Mario Mason “The first Warriors in Pink event was a great success. It was a stellar event packed with useful information that has the potential to save lives of many individuals in our community”.
